Each time you practice yoga, you take your joints through their full range of motion. This can help prevent degenerative arthritis or mitigate disability by "squeezing and soaking" areas of cartilage that normally aren't used.

This can help prevent degenerative arthritis or mitigate disability by "squeezing and soaking" areas of cartilage that normally aren't used. It is very good for joints. I will not argue. However, yoga does not give me enough load to reduce my weight. I have contraindications against running and cycling due to excessive knee strain in these sports. I try to use weighting agents but it helps a little.

You have a difficult situation. As far as I understand, you need specialized training that doesn't affect the legs. I know one such one - sportstopics.com/best-battle-ropes/ Battle ropes give both power and dynamic cardio effect. You can watch the training video on the site. I saw a good result in the mirror after three weeks of training. However, if you follow my advice, then add another aqua jogging to balance the proportions of the body (here the load on the knees will be reduced).
