Hey there, I'm on this site as cybernurse223, and I'm just a young girl who is really interested in the medical field. I am hoping to go to college one day and become a Nurse Practitioner, or perhaps a MD. My interest in the medical field probably stems from having a disabled mother with many different illnesses and types of diseases, a father who is a cancer survivor, and my boyfriend also has Tourette Syndrome. So yes, I am very exposed as to what to expect with the life of a Nurse, and honestly I couldn't imagine myself being anything else. I'm a very compassionate, caring person, and I've been looking for a forum to discuss medical topics for a while and then I came across this site. I hope to see this place become active!

hey cybernurse! It seems like you would really know what you're talking about then, I bet it's all been really hard for you though. Just out of curiosity, are you american or british? Or maybe neither, but you're english is absolutely first class if that's the case! I really hope the site becomes active too, I've been trying to promote and advertise the site as much as possible so if you happen to know any groups of people that are interested in this kind of thing, then by all means tell them to sign up! I'm really glad to meet you though, hopefully you'll become a long term member!

Hello Dr. RJ!
Well, I have a deep knowledge for some medical topics. For example, I know a million things about Tourette Syndrome, colon cancer, lymphedema, mrsa, and just a whole bunch of random conditions that I have experienced first hand because of someone I love having them. It hasn't been too hard though with coping, the hardest thing I've ever had to deal with was my dad's cancer diagnosis last summer.
To answer your question, yes I am American. What nationality are you? I will see what I can do to get more members on this site... because of the medical conditions of my parents I see doctors, nurses, and CNAs on a regular basis (a few times a week), perhaps I can speak to one of them about joining. Have you thought about advertising on medical forums that are not associated with proboards?
Oh, by the way, are you a real doctor, or do you have some other type of medical job? What interests you in health care/medicine? Nice too meet you too!

Hi! I'm sure it's still been quite hard, I think you're being modest! But yeah, as I'd imagine, that'd be the most difficult thing by far! I'm British (English more specifically) and yeah that'd be absolutely awesome! I'd be forever grateful to you! And I have been looking at them, I just felt like I should maybe build a small community of maybe 5-10 members before I start advertising like that. And I'm not a real doctor.. yet! I'm busy being a pre-med student. I'm basically trying to get the grades to study medicine at university. I'm sure it's a bit different in America but I think you can get the jist. I'm just going to pm you about something I think might be quite useful for WM, but I think I'll need your help doing it!
